Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Binseek. Short, and in plain language, because terms nobody reads protect nobody.

Last updated 3 August 2026

01

The agreement

By using Binseek you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Binseek is not yet publicly available. While it is in testing, features may change or break, and access may be limited or withdrawn.

02

Your account

You need an account to sync between devices. You are responsible for keeping access to it secure, and for what happens under it.

Accounts are limited to a set number of signed-in devices at once. Signing in on a new device beyond that limit will sign you out elsewhere, and the app will tell you before it does.

03

Your content is yours

Your photographs and records belong to you. We claim no ownership of them.

You give us only the permission needed to operate the service on your behalf — to store your photographs, process them for recognition, and show them back to you on your devices. Nothing more.

04

Acceptable use

Do not use Binseek to:

  • Store or share anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to photograph.
  • Attempt to access another person’s account or records.
  • Interfere with the service, or attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer it.

05

What recognition does and does not do

Binseek uses automated recognition to draft a list of the items visible in your photographs. It is a starting point that you confirm or correct — not an authoritative record.

It will sometimes be wrong. It only describes what is visible in the frame, and it cannot identify anything hidden inside a closed container. Do not rely on it for anything where being wrong would matter, such as insurance, legal or financial records, without checking it yourself.

06

Availability

We do our best to keep Binseek running, but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free. The app is designed to keep working offline, which limits what an outage can interrupt.

07

Liability

Binseek is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything arising from your reliance on a recognition result you have not checked. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

08

Ending it

You can stop using Binseek and delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, or if we stop offering the service. If we stop, we will give you a way to export what you have.

09

Changes to these terms

These terms may change as the product develops. If a change materially affects you, we will say so in the app before it takes effect.
